You'll prepare technical memos and client deliverables while identifying opportunities for performance improvements. The position supports travel up to 25% and focuses on applying US GAAP/IFRS knowledge to complex accounting scenarios. Responsibilities- Participate in multiple client engagements within the Technical Accounting Consulting practice
- Demonstrate knowledge of complex financial accounting concepts from basics to intermediate
- Maintain and develop current technical accounting capabilities leveraging firm resources
- Assist in preparing technical memos and client deliverables
- Identify performance improvement opportunities for clients
- Work as part of an integrated service delivery team across RSM service lines
- Travel up to 25% of the year depending on client needs
Key requirements- BS/BA Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree
- 2+ years of experience in public accounting, technical accounting or financial reporting
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical knowledge in US GAAP and/or IFRS for both public & private companies
