Overview In this Chief Financial Officer role, you will lead the finance function for a reputable professional services firm, guiding financial direction and operational performance. Responsibilities- Act as trusted financial advisor to executive leadership on performance, growth strategy, investments, and financial direction
- Lead core accounting and finance activities including financial reporting, general ledger oversight, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
- Oversee monthly and annual close processes ensuring accuracy of financial information
- Develop and enhance financial models, scenario analyses, and performance reporting for decisions
- Provide insight into profitability, pricing, utilization, and other key metrics
- Drive annual budgeting process and monitor performance against plan, identifying risks and opportunities
- Manage treasury activity, liquidity planning, banking relationships, and cash strategy
- Oversee payroll, disbursements, receivables, payables, reconciliations, and related operations
- Partner with outside advisors on tax matters, audits, and compliance
- Strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures for risk management and efficiency
- Evaluate and improve systems, reporting tools, and workflows for visibility
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting function with cross-functional collaboration
- Prepare and present financial analyses and operating results for executives
