Overview In this Senior Applied Scientist role, you advance novel ML approaches to expand Amazon's catalogue and attribute extraction at scale. You will design and evaluate state-of-the-art models, run rigorous experiments, and translate breakthroughs into production-ready solutions. You'll guide junior scientists and partner with ML engineers and software teams to deliver low-latency, scalable systems. Responsibilities- Lead research and development of novel ML methods for catalogue expansion and product attributes challenges
- Design, implement, and evaluate state-of-the-art ML models
- Conduct rigorous experiments and translate findings into production-ready solutions
- Mentor and guide junior scientists
- Collaborate with ML engineers and software engineers to optimize performance, scalability, and low-latency deployment at scale
Key requirements- 3+ years of building machine learning models for business applications
- PhD or Master's degree with 6+ years of applied research experience
