Administrative Manager, Research Administration (Onsite)

In this role you will manage the department's business and clerical activities and supervise the support staff. You will develop and monitor systems, coordinate fiscal activities, and oversee budget-related tasks and grants. You will support the Department Head in goal setting and strategic planning while ensuring compliance and internal controls across the department. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to shape departmental operations, collaborate across units, and contribute to organizational efficiency and accountability.

• Manage overall business activities for the department and supervise support staff
• Assist in recruitment of staff and support personnel
• Develop, integrate, and monitor systems for division/department use
• Coordinate fiscal activities and monitor income/expenses for budget compliance
• Prepare budget requests and budget justifications
• Coordinate research grants and contracts preparation and overall budget activities
• Assist Department Head/Chair in goal setting and strategic planning
• Coordinate special projects and liaise with other departments and agencies
• Identify internal controls to monitor and enforce compliance
• Perform related duties as required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; three years related experience
