Manager Data Analytics- Hospital Finance & Cost Accounting

Overview

In this role, you lead cost accounting and analytics to support hospital finance, budgeting, and profitability initiatives for client health systems. You partner with executives and cross-functional teams to shape analytics roadmaps and deliver actionable insights. You will oversee data integrity, cost allocations, and financial reporting, driving performance improvements. This position offers a platform to influence decision-making and contribute to scalable, analytics-driven health care finance solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with stakeholders and executives to support operational and strategic objectives with analytics
  • Manage a portfolio of analytics and communicate developments to clients
  • Facilitate prioritization of client objectives to develop an analytics roadmap
  • Act as liaison between leadership and analytics delivery teams to streamline projects
  • Lead creation of analyses to guide organizational strategy and decision-making
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy of foundational data assets
  • Recruit, develop and evaluate staff and oversee departmental time tracking
  • Oversee cost accounting operations, including allocations, profitability modeling, and reporting
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in hospital finance, healthcare cost accounting, financial planning, or related healthcare finance function
  • 5+ years managing cost accounting operations (allocations, profitability modeling, reporting)
  • 5+ years supporting hospital budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • 3+ years presenting financial analysis to hospital executives and senior leaders
  • 3+ years leading analytical initiatives, performance improvements, or budgeting support
  • Demonstrated people management and team leadership experience
  • Strategic cost accounting consultation and financial insights to senior leadership
