Overview

In this role you will independently design batching and CIP systems for water and beverage lines, including hot fill and aseptic processing. You will scope projects, obtain vendor quotes, and drive process improvements and new product rollouts. You'll support multiple plants and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, validated equipment and processes. Responsibilities
  • Design batching and CIP systems for water and beverage lines (cold fill, hot fill, CSD, aseptic) in collaboration with OEMs
  • Optimize and validate new and existing beverage processes
  • Create equipment/process specs for current and future products
  • Issue RFQs and coordinate with Product Development to define equipment specs
  • Provide ongoing technical support to beverage plants
  • Troubleshoot complex process equipment (e.g., UHT, aseptic valve cluster, aseptic tank)
  • Leverage PLC programming (Rockwell/HMI Wonderware/Ignitiion) for batching and process control
  • Coordinate with vendors and project managers for equipment installation and commissioning
  • Ensure compliance with process authorities and FDA certifications/validations
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and drive cost savings
  • Travel 25%-50% (domestic and international)
Key requirements
  • 6 Years of experience in beverage processing/manufacturing
  • 6 Years of experience in Engineering Project Management
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field; Master's preferred
  • Experience with batching, CIP systems, and beverage processing technologies
  • Strong PLC/HMI programming knowledge (Rockwell/Wonderware/Ignitiion)
  • Experience with CQV (Commissioning, Qualification, Verification) processes
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, Outlook)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
