Venue & Events Assistant

Location: McCormick Home Ranch, Camarillo, CA
Pay: $17 $21 per hour
Schedule: Part-time, with hours varying by season and event schedule. Weekend availability is required.

McCormick Home Ranch is looking for an organized, dependable person to support our small team with the day-to-day work of running a wedding venue. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys keeping details in order, following through on tasks, and helping wherever theyre needed.

Youll work closely with Becky and Sally and learn the role over time. Most work will be in person at the ranch, with some tasks that may be done remotely once youre trained.

What youll help with

Scheduling tours and meetings and following up with prospective couples

Keeping client information, emails, and tasks organized in HoneyBook

Assisting with rental lists, guest counts, and event details

Communicating with clients and vendors about routine questions and updates

Preparing the property for tours and events and helping with on-site tasks as needed

Taking on more responsibility as you learn our processes

Who were looking for

Youre organized, attentive to detail, comfortable learning new systems, and able to manage your work in a timely manner. Youre happy to help with both computer-based tasks and hands-on work at the venue, and you can be available on weekends. Wedding experience isnt required; were glad to train someone whos eager to learn.
