Overview In this field-based role, you will be the scientific bridge between Eisai and the medical community, focusing on Alzheimer's disease and dementia. You'll communicate clinical data, educate KOLs/HCPs, and gather insights to shape medical strategy within Medical Affairs. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to expand Eisai's dementia program and support special projects. Responsibilities- Serve as the primary clinical/scientific resource for disease state and Eisai products to HCPs in the territory
- Act as a conduit for accurate medical information between KOLs/investigators and Medical Affairs/development
- Build and maintain peer relationships with KOLs in AD and dementia
- Present clinical and scientific data on Eisai products and therapeutic areas
- Support professional congresses and lead congress coverage efforts
- Identify and report key scientific and clinical insights from KOLs to Medical Affairs
- Facilitate Investigator-Initiated Studies review and follow-up; assist with Eisai-sponsored trials
- Teach, coach and mentor new MSLs; contribute to leadership and strategic planning
- Provide technical/scientific support to cross-functional partners
- Contribute to site selection and scientific input for company-sponsored studies
Key requirements- MSL experience in neurology or complex diseases preferred; dementia/AD research strongly preferred
- 3+ years of experience required for Sr. MSL title
- Established relationships with KOLs in neurology and AD-focused institutions preferred
- 2+ years in industry/clinical research or related scientific/clinical setting
- Strong broad-based scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge; regulatory and compliance familiarity
- Clinical trial development and drug launch experience preferred
- Ability to communicate complex data to top-tier KOLs; independent work with minimal supervision
- Experience in matrix environments and cross-functional collaboration (Commercial Ops, Marketing, Sales)
- Proficient in data presentation, scientific storytelling, and strategic conversations
- Willingness to travel 60% and operate a home-based office
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
