Overview

In this role you lead the branch's sales and administrative support, driving training and process improvements to enable growth. You work closely with the Regional Director and Branch leadership to align operations with firm initiatives. You will manage staff, oversee performance and HR matters, and partner across teams to solve day-to-day problems. This position offers influence over coaching, compliance, and service delivery in a high-caliber wealth management environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership for sales support and administrative teams in the branch and satellite locations
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise staff; manage assignments and reassignments as needed
  • Conduct performance reviews and manage compensation, promotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations
  • Educate employees on administrative policies and firm best practices
  • Partner with cross-functional groups to drive process improvement and daily problem solving
  • Manage HR tasks including benefits, attendance, and vacation; escalate issues to Regional Director
  • Collaborate with Regional Director and New York Management on staffing and management issues
  • Support strategic firm and branch initiatives with close collaboration with the Regional Director
Key requirements
  • FINRA SIE, Series 7, 66, 9 & 10 licenses required by hire or within 180 days
  • Degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of financial services management experience
  • Experience in training or as a branch administrator in financial services
  • Understanding of wealth management, sales force, and investment products
  • Knowledge of KYC and regulatory requirements
  • Project management, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Experience facilitating training sessions (classroom and virtual)
  • Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and relationship-building
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
