Overview

In this role you will lead the tax planning and compliance for high net worth individuals and related trusts, acting as a trusted advisor to clients. You will manage engagements, develop client relationships, and guide a team to deliver high-quality tax services. The position emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and business development within a growth minded firm. Responsibilities
  • Provide tax planning and compliance services for high net worth individuals and related trusts
  • Develop and sustain excellent client relationships to become a trusted advisor
  • Identify issues and propose solutions to complex client problems
  • Manage client engagements to meet service expectations
  • Develop and grow a business network to attract new clients and referrals
  • Hold yourself and others accountable for business development goals
  • Recruit, develop, and motivate team members
  • Foster a highly collaborative team environment with cross input
  • Promote engagement, inclusion, and accountability within the team
  • Set and pursue stretch goals to increase value to the organization
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in Accounting or Finance; Masters in Tax preferred; or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of recent accounting firm experience including managing multiple tax projects and client engagements, directing staff, and managing workflow
  • CPA certification
  • Ability to multitask
  • Leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and networking acumen
  • Ability to manage and grow strong customer relationships
