Responsibilities- Oversee accurate, complete, and timely preparation of all tax returns
- Provide technical tax review and approval for complex returns and examinations
- Manage larger returns and delegate work to tax preparers
- Advise clients with advanced technical skills; participate in tax planning
- Represent clients in government tax examinations when needed
- Ensure smooth workflow of tax returns through the preparation system and billing
- Assist in client meetings and tax planning with Auditing and Accounting Department
- Mentor and train supervising seniors, seniors, semi-seniors, and staff
- Contribute to practice development and firm initiatives
Key requirements- Five to seven years of public accounting experience with increasing tax complexity
- Minimum one year supervising and directing tax preparers
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA license is required
- Master's degree in taxation preferred
