Regional Technical Advisor

In this role you will serve as the regional technical advisor for the Eagle Ford commercial team, applying chemical engineering and production chemistry expertise to optimize client operations. You will translate technical concepts into practical business solutions, support field trials, and help develop technically sound proposals. You will collaborate with sales, operations, and laboratory teams to drive customer satisfaction, reliability, and growth. • Act as primary technical resource for customers and the commercial team on chemical products and treatment programs
• Collaborate with sales to capture customer requirements and develop technically sound solutions
• Monitor treatment program performance and propose adjustments for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Evaluate operational challenges and recommend practical chemical solutions for process improvement
• Provide technical consultation throughout the sales cycle, including opportunity assessment, solution development, and post-implementation follow-up
• Support growth initiatives by identifying opportunities for expanded product use and value-added services
• Analyze performance data to inform recommendations that enhance treatment effectiveness and reduce risk
• Troubleshoot processes, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions
• Deliver technical presentations and training to customers and internal teams
• Maintain strong customer relationships as a trusted advisor and ensure responsive support
• Coordinate with laboratory, operations, engineering, and product teams to address customer needs
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and customer-facing documentation
• Ensure activities comply with safety, health, regulatory standards
• Promote safe handling and application of chemical products in field settings

• 3+ years in chemical applications, production chemicals, technical support, field operations, or related industry
• Strong chemical engineering foundation with knowledge of processes, fluid systems, reaction principles, and upstream/midstream design
• Competency in corrosion, scale, and predictive models
• Understanding of production chemistry and chemical treatment programs
• Experience with laboratory testing, product performance evaluations, and field trials
• Knowledge of corrosion management, scale control, emulsion treatment, flow assurance, asset integrity, or process improvement
• Ability to evaluate operational challenges and recommend practical technical solutions
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
• Experience supporting customers in field, production, or industrial environments
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
• Strong customer service, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, lab, and engineering
• Strong organizational, time management, and project coordination skills
