Overview As VP and General Counsel Americas, you will lead legal strategy for the Americas region (USA, Canada, and LatAm) in a technology-driven manufacturing and SaaS environment. You will work closely with regional leadership to align legal guidance with commercial goals, manage cross-border risk, and drive efficient, scalable processes. This role combines advisory, governance, and significant transformation responsibilities to support growth and prudent risk management. You will shape the regional legal footprint and mentor a high-performance team.

Responsibilities- Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of high value commercial agreements, with emphasis on technology-enabled and SaaS offerings
- Provide timely, pragmatic legal guidance to regional leadership and Executive Committee
- Establish and maintain legal governance, entity management, and compliance across all countries in the region
- Develop and standardize contract templates, playbooks, and automated workflows
- Lead the Americas Group Legal team to manage high-volume workloads and focus on critical business and risk matters
- Deliver broad legal counsel across commercial contracts, IP, litigation, employment, real estate, data protection, and regulatory matters
Key requirements- J.D from an accredited law school and admission to at least one U.S. state bar; Indiana licensure within a reasonable time
- 15+ years of relevant legal experience (law firm, in-house or combination)
- Leadership and team-building experience
- Experience supporting M&A activity and commercial contracting, with strong project management and transformation experience in a global organization
