Overview In this Analytical Chemist role, you will lead technical projects at the intersection of polymer science, analytical chemistry, and data analytics. You'll support new product development, regulatory compliance, and advanced materials research from Dublin, OH. You'll work with cross-functional R&D teams to solve data-rich chemistry challenges and optimize analytical methods. Responsibilities- Develop and validate analytical and QC methods, including LC method development
- Perform analyses using LC, GC, Elemental Analysis, IR, GPC, and MS
- Troubleshoot, calibrate, maintain, and repair lab instrumentation
- Collaborate with R&D scientists to support product development and research
- Manage analytical databases using SQL for data structuring and querying
- Use LIMS and ELNs to integrate data workflows
- Handle large datasets from polymer synthesis and performance testing
- Assist in data interpretation and develop tools for high-throughput screening and data-driven polymer design
- Create and present technical documentation and reports
- Travel frequently for collaboration, training, and technical support
Key requirements- Master's degree or higher in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or related field
- Minimum 2 years hands-on lab experience in analytical chemistry
- Strong math foundation including advanced algebra and statistics
- Proficiency in Word and Excel; excellent verbal and written communication
