Associate Attorney - Insurance Coverage - Miami (Senior Level)

In this role you will join a leading international law firm's Insurance Coverage Practice Group to handle complex coverage disputes for insurers. You will analyze policies, draft opinions, and provide actionable recommendations while collaborating with partners and clients on high-stakes matters. The position offers exposure to depositions, mediations, and trials within a supportive, mentorship-driven environment. You will help shape coverage strategies on high-exposure litigation and market conduct matters. • Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions
• Provide clear, actionable coverage recommendations for clients
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools
• Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
• Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses
• Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation
• Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers
• Collaborate with partners and team members to advance case objectives

• 5-7 years of substantive litigation experience with a focus on insurance coverage matters
• JD from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic record; Law Review/Honors required
• Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies
• Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations
• Strong drafting, research, and writing skills
• Experience participating in litigation proceedings, including depositions and mediations
• Familiarity with bad faith claims, CGL, commercial property, E&O, and D&O
