Overview In this role you will lead global intercompany accounting to ensure compliant, accurate consolidation and reporting. You will design scalable intercompany flows with cross-functional partners to support global growth and acquisitions, while strengthening controls and automation. You help drive end-to-end processes, month/year-end closes, and reconciliations, partnering with Finance, Operations, and Tax. Responsibilities- Own intercompany accounting policies, procedures and controls
- Design and implement compliant intercompany transaction flows for new products, markets, legal entities, acquisitions, and initiatives
- Manage end-to-end intercompany accounting for multiple entities and business units
- Lead monthly and annual close, settlements, and eliminations for consolidated reporting
- Oversee reconciliations and drive timely resolution of variances
- Identify process improvements to reduce manual work and improve accuracy and visibility
- Partner with Finance and IT on ERP implementations, system enhancements, automation, and master data governance
- Establish reporting and KPIs for intercompany balances, aging, settlements, and exceptions
- Collaborate with Tax and Transfer Pricing to ensure compliance and documentation
- Support audits with requested documentation and explanations
- Coach and develop team members and act as SME for intercompany accounting
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or relevant experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and consolidated financial reporting
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- CPA or equivalent professional designation
- 7+ years progressive accounting experience
- 3+ years supporting intercompany accounting or consolidations (preferred)
- Experience with Oracle, SAP or similar large ERP environments
