Overview In this role you will provide strategic legal guidance to T-Mobile's enterprise data governance and privacy initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams to embed compliant data practices. You'll translate complex regulations into practical playbooks and policies, supporting governance, records management, and data stewardship at scale. You'll help readiness for audits, investigations, and regulatory inquiries while advancing the company's privacy and data governance objectives.

Responsibilities- Provide legal support for enterprise data governance and data stewardship programs with cross-functional stakeholders
- Advise on data lifecycle management including retention, defensible deletion, minimization, inventory, access governance, and third-party data management
- Advise on compliance with domestic and international privacy laws and assess legal risks from evolving regulatory expectations
- Develop guidance, policies, standards, training, and playbooks for data governance, records management, and data stewardship
- Partner with legal and business teams to support governance initiatives and readiness for litigation, investigations, audits, and regulatory inquiries
Key requirements- JD with 2-4 years of experience in privacy or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate legal issues into actionable guidance
- Comfort engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to senior leadership
