Sr Client Services Manager - National Accounts

Overview

In this individual contributor role, you will lead the development and execution of claim service strategies while managing underwriting branch partnerships and agency relationships across an assigned National Accounts territory. You'll ensure renewals meet service standards and drive strong customer outcomes with an externally focused, high-engagement stance with brokers and agents. You'll support large, national clients and coordinate cross-functional efforts to deliver exceptional claim service and profitability. This is a chance to shape client service offerings and influence outcomes for key commercial accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary contact for assigned clients, agents and brokers on claim service matters
  • Build and maintain relationships to support new business, retention, and cross-sell goals
  • Collaborate with underwriting to determine renewals at profitable rates based on client needs
  • Lead development, delivery and evaluation of client service goals
  • Customize measurement tools and monitor results to identify issues
  • Facilitate resolution of claim service issues through consensus-building and action planning
  • Develop innovative products/services guided by client input and profitability
  • Negotiate and communicate special claim handling instructions for risk management clients
  • Oversee transition plans and meetings for new accounts
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource on claim service offerings and processes
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Typically 5-8 years of experience in claims, third-party administration, or insurance operations
  • Claim management experience preferred
  • CPCU, ARM, AIC, or similar certifications are preferred
  • Strong knowledge of claims systems, reporting systems, pricing models, client setup processes, and statutory requirements
  • Strong insurance industry knowledge specific to client services and claim products
  • Proven problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and negotiation abilities
  • Collaborative and influential mindset
  • Self-directed with a focus on quality work products
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related software
