Overview In this role, you'll influence decision-making for AWS by owning revenue, operating margin, and capex insights while partnering with services and sales units. You will modernize reporting with AI, rebuild planning models, and deliver insights that shape AWS finance strategy. You'll work cross-functionally to explain performance trends to executives and drive high-impact reporting improvements. Responsibilities- Partner with stakeholders across AWS to research drivers, develop insights, and represent finance perspective in leadership discussions
- Revamp and create financial models to improve planning cycle accuracy using economic principles
- Own and deliver high-quality monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting with actionable insights for senior leaders
- Build narratives around performance to explain trends, forecast accuracy, and expectations to executives
- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships across AWS organizations, balancing priorities and adapting to changing demands
Key requirements- 5+ years of experience in tax, finance, or related analytical field
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience dissecting financial data to support business strategy
- 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance
