Overview

In this role you will support NAVWAR and DoD mission programs with strategic financial planning and execution. You will work across functional and technical teams to deliver forecasts, analyses, and executive-ready reporting that guides decisions. You will translate complex financial data into actionable insights and advise program leadership on risk-informed strategies. This position offers impact through shaping program outcomes and partnering with mission-focused teams to accelerate capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare complex monthly financial reports using standardized processes and templates to inform leadership decisions
  • Monitor and analyze program spending, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions
  • Own and maintain execution reporting across labor rosters, burn rates, and multiple budget lines
  • Create executive-level slide decks and tailored briefings translating financial data into actionable intelligence
  • Act as a trusted advisor to program leadership, surfacing issues before they affect outcomes
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, MIS, or Business Administration
  • At least 5 years of financial management experience, including 3+ years on NAVWAR or DoD programs
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, modeling, scenario planning)
  • Proficiency with financial systems and data integration tools (ERP systems, BI platforms)
  • Proven track record in strategic planning, risk analysis, and budget execution for federal programs
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to translate risks into financial terms
