Overview In this role you will help clients address complex accounting and financial reporting challenges, supporting transactions such as IPOs, SPACs, and M&A while enhancing audits and disclosures. You will partner with cross-functional teams to apply GAAP, perform technical accounting research, and contribute to SEC filings and financial statement preparation. The position offers growth through hands-on client work, regulatory reporting, and ongoing professional development within a collaborative culture. Responsibilities- Add value through complex transactions including IPOs, SPACs, M&A, and Divestitures
- Assist clients in preparing and completing audits
- Support technical topics and financial reporting areas (e.g., revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, leases, fixed assets)
- Prepare financial statements and perform account reconciliations and cut-off analysis
- Assist in SEC reporting and filings (10-K, 10-Q, etc.) and quarterization
- Identify and apply GAAP guidance to client situations and raise issues to engagement leaders
- Draft or review complex financial statements with disclosures
- Highlight and resolve complex accounting issues with engagement partners
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
- 2-5 years of public accounting experience
- CPA preferred or actively pursuing certification
- Ability to take responsibility for own work and work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Some travel ( 10%)
