Overview As Principal Architect for Finance Modernization, you will lead architectural direction for the ERP transformation, focusing on Workday Financials and related finance platforms. You will partner with Finance, Data, and Enterprise Architecture teams to define target-state architectures, data strategies, and integration patterns, while driving governance and scalable data platforms. The role offers impact across ERP modernization, cloud-native designs, and AI-enabled finance solutions. You will shape the technology roadmap and ensure secure, auditable, and high-performing finance systems.

Responsibilities- Lead the Finance Modernization and ERP Transformation Architecture for Workday Financials and related platforms
- Define target-state and transition-state architectures; ensure governance and standards across ERP workstreams
- Lead Workday architecture design, integration patterns, and extensibility considerations
- Define data architecture patterns for finance modernization and Databricks adoption
- Align AI/analytics enablement with data platforms and governance; drive value through finance data products
- Define integration strategies among Workday, legacy ERP, and downstream reporting solutions
- Lead architecture governance reviews and ensure compliance with security, SOX, and risk requirements
- Identify opportunities for AI and automation across Finance and ERP capabilities, and guide responsible AI usage
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in relevant technical discipline
- 10+ years in enterprise application architecture
- 5+ years as Principal/Enterprise/Lead Architect
- 8+ years designing large-scale ERP/Finance systems
- Deep understanding of General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting, Planning and Forecasting
- Experience leading complex ERP transformation programs
- Cloud-native architecture experience; Azure; enterprise integration
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to evaluate AI/GenAI opportunities within governance and risk frameworks
