Overview Senior litigation associate in a leading international law firm's Insurance Coverage Practice. You will evaluate complex insurance policies and draft coverage opinions to guide client decisions. You'll work with domestic and international insurers on high-exposure disputes, collaborating with partners and cross functional teams. The role combines policy analysis with aggressive advocacy in depositions, mediations, and trials, offering meaningful client interaction and mentorship within a high-performing environment.
Compensation / Benefits- Annual base salary $185,000-$225,000

Responsibilities- Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions
- Provide clear and actionable coverage recommendations for clients
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other research tools
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Draft interrogatories, document requests, and responses
- Review and analyze document collections in preparation for litigation
- Engage in direct communication with domestic and international insurers
- Collaborate with partners and team members to advance case objectives with efficiency and precision
Key requirements- JD from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admisison in Florida, in good standing
- 5-7 years of substantive litigation experience focused on insurance coverage
- Experience analyzing complex insurance policies
- Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations
- Experience drafting litigation-related documents
- Experience participating in depositions, mediations, among others
- Familiarity with bad faith claims, CGL, property, E&O, and D&O
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
