Overview In this role you will grow Pelican's digital community by managing social channels and coordinating influencer, creator, and affiliate programs. You'll engage audiences, nurture creator relationships, and translate performance data into actionable improvements for brand impact. You will work cross-functionally to maintain a consistent Pelican voice and capitalize on emerging trends. Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day community engagement across social channels (comments, messages, mentions)
- Respond to general brand questions and route customer service needs internally
- Engage with user-generated content, creators, and online conversations to boost engagement and brand awareness
- Conduct social listening across Pelican, competitors, and trends
- Track and report social performance metrics and translate data into insights
- Identify and onboard potential creators and influencers aligned with brand objectives
- Coordinate creator campaigns, product gifting, requests, and fulfillment logistics
- Maintain creator/influencer records and performance metrics
- Serve as day-to-day contact for affiliate partners and coordinate communications and deliverables
- Identify and recruit prospective affiliate partners to expand the network
- Monitor creator/affiliate performance and share insights with Marketing teams
- Spot emerging social trends and partnership opportunities; flag brand concerns
- Collaborate with internal teams and creators to maintain consistent brand voice across social and partnerships
Key requirements- 2-3 years in social media, community management, influencer/creator or affiliate marketing
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X
- Experience with social media reporting, analytics, and listening tools (e.g., Meltwater)
- Ability to interpret data to identify trends and opportunities
- Excellent written communication with brand voice
- Experience coordinating multiple campaigns, partners, and deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite for basic edits and assets support
