Responsibilities- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support cases and transactions
- Draft legal documents including briefs, motions, contracts, and correspondence
- Assist/manage complex cases and transactions from inception to resolution
- Build and maintain strong internal and external client relationships with timely updates and professional handling
- Collaborate with lawyers and business professionals to develop innovative case/transaction strategies
- Attend and participate in high-level legal activities (court hearings, depositions, negotiations, trials)
- Ensure compliance with legal standards and evolving precedents
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance legal knowledge and leadership skills
- Support firm citizenship initiatives and pro bono involvement
Key requirements- At least 2 years of trademark & copyright counseling and litigation experience
- Experience with trademark clearance, prosecution strategy, and portfolio management
- Knowledge of IP provisions in commercial and corporate transactions
- Background from a nationally recognized law school; prior AmLaw 100 firm experience preferred
- Strong analytical and writing skills; attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple matters and client relationships in a fast-paced environment
