Overview In this Senior Manager role, you will guide and enhance our real estate tax engagements while shaping our service approach for top real estate clients. You'll lead cross-functional collaboration across nine markets, review complex tax work, and recruit and develop a high-performing team. Your efforts will drive client satisfaction, operational excellence, and growth for the real estate tax practice. Responsibilities- Develop and maintain client relationships with leading real estate companies
- Perform technical review of complex tax returns
- Identify and propose creative resolutions for complex client issues
- Review operating agreements, LOIs, purchase agreements, and other tax-related documents
- Monitor engagement economics including billing and collections
- Recruit, mentor, and motivate team members
- Collaborate cross-functionally to expand business solutions
- Grow professional network with clients, prospects, and external partners
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters in Tax preferred
- 7+ years in public accounting with real estate tax project oversight
- Experience leading teams and managing multiple engagements
- Significant real estate industry and entity/individual tax experience (esp. partnerships)
- CPA certification
