Product Manager, Retail Banking & Cash Management - Assistant Vice President

Overview

In this role you will help shape the retail banking and cash management product suite, from concept through launch and beyond. You will own initiatives, coordinate across functions, and drive outcomes that deepen deposit relationships. You'll work with Digital Platforms, Technology and Operations to deliver customer-centric experiences in a multi-channel environment. This position offers opportunities to influence product strategy and contribute to Morgan Stanley's growth across channels.

Responsibilities
  • Manage existing products and lead projects to increase adoption across channels
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (Digital Platforms, Technology, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Compliance, Finance) to launch initiatives
  • Partner with Digital Platforms to develop requirements and deliver user-friendly experiences
  • Maintain project management discipline with risk tracking and progress readouts
  • Analyze product trends and regional/national performance; develop KPIs with Tech
  • Prepare analyses and communicate key findings to senior management
  • Analyze competitive strategies and identify implications for our products
  • Draft internal/Advisor/client communications and support product strategy across retail banking and cash management
  • Support sales and resolve escalated client issues; update policies/procedures as needed
Key requirements
  • 3-5 years in Product Management, Banking Services, Technology, Strategy, Consulting or related field
  • Understanding of digital products and customer experiences; familiarity with retail or private banking is a plus
  • Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder products and drive initiatives from problem definition to implementation
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop clear recommendations
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field
  • Self-starter with strong time management and attention to detail
  • Analytical and strategic thinker
  • Adaptable team player with quick learning
  • PowerPoint
  • MS Office (Excel, Access)
  • Analytical tooling for reporting (experience with KPI development and reporting)
