Sr Manager, FP&A - Global Operations (Boston based)

Overview

In this role you will lead the COO Finance organization's financial reporting, planning and analytics to support global manufacturing, supply chain, R&D, and quality/regulatory functions. You will partner with Corporate FP&A and Accounting to run month-end close, forecasts, and long-range plans, while driving finance transformation and technology-enabled improvements. You'll translate complex requirements into practical tech solutions and guide a growing team. This is a chance to shape cross-functional finance processes at scale for a global leader.

Responsibilities
  • Lead financial reporting consolidation, analytics and communication for COO Finance (OPL, quarterly forecasts, variance analysis, strategic plan).
  • Manage calendars and improve quality/time of process execution with finance and function leads.
  • Develop and deliver Quarterly Financial Review package for the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Lead finance transformation prioritization with IT and external resources; drive reporting automation and real-time dashboards.
  • Coordinate monthly manufacturing and supply chain performance reviews and action tracking.
  • Support acquisition/divestiture activities as needed, across relevant areas.
  • Own month-end processes and related accounting/audit requirements; standardize processes for transparency and predictability.
  • Collaborate with COO Finance, Corporate Accounting and auditors to implement improvements into the Finance Transformation delivery.
Key requirements
  • BSc/BA in Finance/Accounting, Economics or Math; Master's degree preferred; CPA preferred
  • 8 years of financial analysis & planning experience with multinational companies
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel; PowerPoint; Hyperion, Demantra and Oracle a plus
  • Travel 10%
  • Experience designing and managing financial reporting, planning and analytics processes
  • Ability to partner with global manufacturing & supply chain and translate requirements to tech solutions
