HR Generalist

In this role you will support the employee lifecycle as a key member of the HR team, partnering with the President to implement HR processes. You will drive recruitment, onboarding, training, performance monitoring, and engagement while ensuring policy compliance. The position emphasizes close collaboration with office management and a proactive approach to people support. You will contribute to HR initiatives within Corporate HR and Talent Management and help maintain accurate employee records. This is a hands-on role in a hybrid setting that supports a growing logistics organization.

• Assist with day-to-day HR operations in recruiting, onboarding, engagement, performance management and employee relations
• Collaborate with the President and Office Management to communicate HR policies, training initiatives, and legal updates
• Serve as first point of contact for employees, addressing HR concerns and inquiries
• Lead new hire orientation and onboarding to ensure compliant training
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory changes and HR best practices and inform management
• Contribute to HR initiatives for Corporate HR and Talent Management
• Maintain accurate employee records and documentation
• Promote a positive work environment and uphold company values
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree or Professional Certification in Human Resources or equivalent experience
• At least 1 year of HR experience in a similar role
• Comprehensive understanding of recruitment, onboarding, training, performance monitoring, and engagement
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
• Experience with HRIS (preferably ADP WorkforceNow or Cornerstone) or ability to learn quickly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with discretion and diplomacy
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proven experience in similar HR roles
