Overview

In this onsite Senior HR Generalist role, you partner with management to deliver HR services and ensure policies and programs meet regulatory requirements. You guide employee relations, onboarding, training, and compensation activities to support a fair and compliant workplace. You will handle investigations, leave processes, and occasional unemployment hearings, shaping a positive climate across the organization. This position offers visibility to cross-functional partners and impact on workforce development and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute employee relations initiatives
  • Coach managers and employees on HR policy interpretation and administration
  • Maintain positive employee relations and assess internal climate
  • Partner with HR management on investigations and issue resolution
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to management
  • Act as liaison between Talent Acquisition and management in recruitment
  • Identify training needs and plan programs to support development
  • Oversee new employee onboarding processes
  • Ensure consistency in job evaluations and compensation programs
  • Assist with salary administration and pay equity
  • Ensure HR operations comply with applicable laws (e.g., FLSA, Title VII)
  • Support leave of absence processes with corporate team and management
  • Assist with Workers' Compensation administration and return-to-work processes
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • At least 3 years of HR Generalist experience with knowledge of HR practices and regulations
  • Preferred: PHR or SPHR
  • Strong communication and coaching abilities
  • Collaborative and cross-functional teamwork
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven decision making
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FLSA, Title VII)
  • Experience with leave of absence processes and workers' compensation procedures
  • Understanding of job evaluation and compensation administration
