Overview In this role you lead complex construction and civil litigation for a boutique firm, guiding high-stakes matters from filing to trial, arbitration, or hearings. Responsibilities- Manage complex litigation from initial claims through trial, arbitration, or board hearings
- Handle commercial construction disputes, delay claims, and other high-value matters
- Develop legal strategies that protect clients and support business objectives
- Advise contractors, owners, suppliers, and business leaders on legal and operational issues
- Mentor and direct attorneys and paralegals throughout case development
- Produce high-quality legal work while maintaining strong client relationships
Key requirements- 7+ years of civil litigation and/or construction law experience
- Proven experience managing complex, high-stakes litigation
- Florida construction law experience preferred
- Strong legal writing, analytical, negotiation, and strategic skills
- Ability to independently lead cases and advise business owners
- Board certification is a plus
- Knowledge of construction project delivery and critical path delay analysis is a plus
