Overview In this role you will oversee property accounting for a diversified real estate portfolio, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cash management, and compliance. You collaborate with asset and property teams to support operations, budgeting, and audits. Responsibilities- A/P review and approval, cash management, and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate wire transfers and collaborate with property/asset management on operations
- Prepare monthly reporting packages for internal/external use (investor, lender compliance, asset management, development)
- Manage cash flow projection process to meet liquidity needs
- Prepare annual budgets with real estate team
- Assist in annual audit process
- Manage lease administration and monthly billing
Key requirements- 5+ years of real estate property accounting experience
- Residential property experience preferred
- Solid computer skills; YARDI preferred; other real estate accounting software considered
