Overview In this role, you will lead field operations for multifamily projects, coordinating trades and ensuring work stays on schedule, on budget, and meets safety and quality standards. You will work closely with the Project Manager to drive projects from pre-bid to punch list. You'll tackle on-site challenges, enforce quality and safety programs, and support pre-construction activities. This is a hands-on leadership role at a GC focused on multifamily construction, offering impactful coordination across teams.
Responsibilities- Field Leadership: supervise daily field operations, manage subcontractors and suppliers, and resolve on-site issues
- Scheduling & Budgeting: develop CPM and look-ahead schedules, monitor costs, and strive to meet budget
- Quality Control: enforce Field Quality Control Program from pad to final striping to minimize punch list
- Health & Safety: implement safety plans, investigate incidents, ensure compliance with safety laws
- Project Admin: submit daily reports, review submittals, track changes, manage field paperwork
- Pre-Construction: assist estimating with sequencing, scheduling, and logistics for pre-bid efforts
Key requirements- 7+ years as Lead or Senior Superintendent for a General Contractor
- Multifamily construction expertise
- Podium and mid-rise experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial/multifamily construction processes
- MS Office, Adobe, Bluebeam proficiency; Viewpoint Team, ProjectSite, AutoCAD a plus
- High school diploma; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture is a plus
- Fluent English; ability to read complex blueprints/specs and lead coordination meetings
