Litigation Associate

In this remote role you will handle plaintiff-side litigation from start to finish, supporting high-stakes cases in construction defect, inverse condemnation, and related areas. You join a close-knit team in a well-established firm noted for large settlements and complex disputes, with training available as needed. You will manage depositions, basic motion practice, and extensive discovery, while coordinating mediation, arbitration, and trial prep. • Take and defend depositions (up to 2 per day)
• Conduct basic motion practice (oppose or file MSJ, demur) and argue motions when needed
• Manage voluminous discovery: propound and respond
• Perform legal research using Westlaw
• Prepare for mediation, arbitration, and trial
• Handle cases in plaintiff construction defect or inverse condemnation
• Work across complex jurisdictions and at appellate level when required
• Collaborate with a close-knit team and support training needs

• CA bar (admitted in California)
• 5+ years of litigation experience
• Ideally some plaintiff-side experience
