Responsibilities- Design and implement new hardware features for future graphics and parallel processing architectures
- Develop and improve graphics/parallel processing algorithms and performance models
- Assess and influence future parallel programming models and their hardware impact
- Create software for hardware simulators, test infrastructures, and metrics systems (including databases)
- Collaborate to document, design, and develop tools to analyze, simulate, validate, and verify models
- Develop tests, test plans, and testing infrastructure for new architectures
- Engage with simulators, RTL, and silicon development to learn and contribute continuously
- Contribute to cross functional efforts to drive architecture validation and performance
Key requirements- 8+ years of industry experience in GPU or CPU architecture (or equivalent)
- MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong programming ability in C, C++, Perl and Python
- Background in computer architecture, graphics algorithms, parallel processing, signal processing or high performance computing
