Overview In this role you will sell and renew Employee Benefits accounts, building and sustaining client relationships with prospects, service teams, and partners. You will present proposals, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain a high level of industry knowledge to support informed, compliant decisions. You work to meet monthly new business goals while contributing to the firm's growth and client-first culture. Responsibilities- Present and explain proposals, review coverages, and finalize sales with documentation handoff to the service team
- Develop prospects through community involvement, seminars, networking, and referrals from existing accounts
- Prepare information and recommendations for prospective accounts, present proposals, and adhere to firm policies for new accounts
- Maintain accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail to minimize errors and omissions claims
- Maintain understanding of insurance industry and underwriting criteria to communicate effectively with partners
- Represent the firm positively in the community and with insurance partners
- Identify opportunities to improve firm processes and escalate issues to leadership
- Meet monthly new business goals
Key requirements- Licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance; willingness to obtain required licenses within 90 days
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients, partners, and internal teams
- Demonstrates alignment with the firm's core values and culture
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn other systems as needed
