Responsibilities- Review and analyze complex standalone Professional Liability risks ( Miscellaneous Professional Liability, Real Estate E&O, Media Liability, Technology Professionals)
- Conduct risk assessments to determine coverage, terms, and pricing per guidelines and market conditions
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with brokers, clients, and stakeholders to drive submissions and growth
- Collaborate with other underwriting teams to identify cross-selling opportunities and promote product offerings
- Monitor portfolio performance and suggest adjustments as needed
- Maintain thorough documentation and data integrity in underwriting systems
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager
Key requirements- 2-5 years of Professional Liability underwriting with a proven track record of profitable growth
- Comprehensive knowledge of Professional Liability underwriting, policies, and coverages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for handling complex data and decisions
- Planning, communication, and negotiation skills with ability to build relationships
- Self-motivated, independent work style with multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Proficient in underwriting software and Microsoft Office
- Professional designations such as CPCU, RPLU, ARM are a plus
