Overview

In this role, you will lead product management efforts to modernize Allstate Dealer Services' Admin System platform. You'll collaborate with business, technology, architecture, and operations to translate needs into strategic roadmaps and actionable requirements. Your work will drive streamlined processes, better user experiences, and measurable outcomes through cross-functional partnership and governance. The position offers a chance to shape large-scale modernization and digital transformation initiatives within a trusted insurer.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to product discovery to understand customer needs, processes, and improvement opportunities
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, business, and operations to define requirements and support product roadmap development
  • Analyze processes, systems, integrations, and workflows to identify modernization and UX improvement opportunities
  • Write, refine, test, and accept user stories and requirements
  • Manage and prioritize product backlog aligned with business and customer needs
  • Define and monitor product metrics to inform prioritization decisions
  • Synthesize stakeholder feedback, customer insights, and data to guide decisions
  • Participate in discovery and test-and-learn activities to validate assumptions and reduce delivery risk
  • Collaborate with technology teams to understand system constraints and implementation options
  • Support modernization and migration by documenting current-state processes and defining future-state requirements
  • Advocate for customer needs while balancing business objectives and technical considerations
Key requirements
  • Approximately 5+ years in Product Management
  • Experience with Agile software development
  • Strong discovery, requirements gathering, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze complex business processes and system interactions
  • Experience with platform modernization, system migration, or digital transformation initiatives
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and break down complex problems
