Overview As a Hybrid Medical Science Liaison for Theratechnologies, you will advance HIV therapeutics by engaging KOLs and HCPs, both virtually and in person. You'll operate within Medical Affairs to deliver compliant scientific education and respond to information requests, while supporting field strategies and congress activities. Your role connects external experts with internal teams to share insights and strengthen medical education. You will travel up to 40% and contribute to the ongoing scientific dialogue that informs product strategy and patient care.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with KOLs and HCPs aligned with Medical Affairs strategies
- Provide proactive scientific engagement and disease-state education for in-line products
- Respond to unsolicited medical/scientific information requests in compliance with policies and US laws
- Foster partnerships with KOLs/HCPs in medical education and research
- Coordinate rapid, compliant responses to information requests during business hours
- Identify and communicate medical/scientific insights relevant to Theratechnologies and stakeholders
- Document field insights within systems within 48 hours
- Support medical leadership in executing field strategy
- Contribute to medical affairs materials (slides, publications, communications) as needed
- Represent Theratechnologies at medical/scientific conferences
- Provide scientific insights to internal stakeholders and post-conference resources
- Deliver virtual updates on major congresses and summarize competitive data
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HIV therapies and competitive products
- Deliver compelling medical presentations to diverse clinical audiences
- Identify opportunities to collaborate with KOLs on disease state initiatives
- Adhere to SOPs and regulatory guidelines in all scientific interactions
- Willingness to travel up to 40% to support congress coverage and field activities
Key requirements- Graduate degree with relevant clinical/pharmaceutical experience required
- BSc from an accredited institution required with one of: PharmD/MD/DO/PhD/MSN/PA-C with 1+ years of relevant experience or MSc with 3+ years of relevant experience or combined BSc with MBA or BSN with MBA and 5+ years of experience
- Strong communication, adaptability, and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in complex, high-stress environments
- Ability to use field-based electronic communication tools
- Deep understanding of scientific, clinical, market, and product information for expert discussions
- Ability to interpret insights and share with multiple internal functions
