Overview As a Technical Recruiter within Enlighten, you partner with engineering leads to identify and hire cleared Cloud Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Data Scientists for defense and IC missions. You'll lead advanced sourcing, screen candidates for technical fit, and manage end-to-end recruiting using a modern ATS. You'll represent Enlighten at regional events and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet mission-driven hiring goals. This role offers exposure to high-demand tech talent and a chance to impact national security programs.
Responsibilities- Execute multi-channel sourcing to build pipelines of cleared candidates (Secret to TS/SCI) across regional hubs
- Conduct thorough technical pre-screenings covering AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, Spark, Hadoop, and Big Data
- Manage full lifecycle recruiting from outreach to onboarding using SuccessFactors
- Collaborate with engineering leaders to stay current on tools, stacks, and program needs
- Maintain precise ATS records for audit readiness and use metrics to optimize pipelines
- Represent Enlighten at career fairs, networking events, and industry expos
- Leverage AI-driven sourcing tools to improve efficiency
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- 6+ years technical recruiting experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years with Masters; or 10 years with High School Diploma/equivalent
- Experience recruiting in Federal/DoD/IC sectors for technical engineers
- Ability to discuss technical topics with engineers and understand modern tech stacks
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Experience sourcing candidates eligible for U.S. Government security clearances from Secret to Polygraph
- Preference for prior sourcing in MD, DC, VA, TX, GA, SC, ID areas
- Experience with multiple sourcing platforms (SeekOut, Indeed, ClearanceJobs, LinkedIn, GitHub, etc.)
- HRIS/ATS experience (SuccessFactors/MyHR a plus)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Willingness to travel to career fairs and events
- Security clearance: ability to obtain; U.S. citizenship required
