Overview In this role you lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of workforce training aligned to business goals, focusing on safety, life-safety systems, and technician performance. You partner with field leaders to identify needs, develop content, and advance continuous improvement, supporting operational excellence and growth. You drive governance, quality, and learning outcomes across a large retail-technical environment. This is a high-visibility role with extensive travel and cross-functional impact.

Responsibilities- Lead safety and technical training on hazard recognition, risk assessment, stop-work authority, and safe low-voltage work practices
- Instruct on safe use of tools, PPE, fall prevention, electrical and driving safety
- Deliver technician training in retail settings (backroom, rooftop, equipment room access)
- Provide technical training on CCTV, fire alarms, PA systems, intrusion systems, and low-voltage cabling
- Coach on structured troubleshooting, quality standards, and documentation accuracy
- Create training materials, learning paths, and assessments
- Evaluate competency, maintain records, and partner with field leaders for program improvements
Key requirements- NICET certification or equivalent credential in fire/life safety systems
- Strong knowledge of safe work practices for field service and installation
- Experience training, mentoring, or leading technicians
- Ability to deliver hands-on instruction and adapt to various learning styles
- Excellent written and verbal communication for technical documentation
- Willingness to travel up to 85% and reside near CA/NV/UT/CO or near a major airport
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications, Education, or related field OR 4 years' experience in adult learning/ training content development
