Overview

In this HR Business Partner role, you align business objectives with people strategy to boost performance and well-being. You collaborate with leaders to address workforce needs, drive organizational change, and implement enterprise-aligned HR initiatives. You act as an advisor on HR processes, policies, and programs while handling complex guidance with independent judgment. This position supports a culture rooted in integrity and service, working across HR programs to drive impact. You will partner with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery and manage risk in a values-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provides HR guidance on policies, procedures, and employee relations to assigned business units
  • Collaborates with leaders to address workforce needs, organizational changes, and talent considerations
  • Supports implementation of HR initiatives aligned with enterprise strategies
  • Provides analytical, project management, and operational support to senior HR partners
  • Resolves employee concerns and conducts investigations; serves as liaison between HR and business units
  • Participates in execution of HR programs such as performance management, compensation, and talent development
  • Ensures compliance with HR processes and documentation; supports data collection and reporting
  • Analyzes data, trends, and metrics with HR to develop solutions and policies
  • Maintains knowledge of employment law and partners with management to reduce legal risk and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Partners with HR team members to improve processes and service delivery
  • Contributes to cross-functional initiatives and projects
Key requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources (generalist or multi-function)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of total rewards, talent development, and talent management
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build relationships
  • Ability to analyze information and make sound recommendations with independent judgment
  • Proficient in MS Office and GuideStone system applications
  • Must maintain complete confidentiality regarding GuideStone business matters
