Overview

In this role you oversee day-to-day property operations to meet financial and operational targets while ensuring compliance with housing regulations. You lead onsite teams, manage budgets, and supervise leasing, maintenance, and client relations. You drive occupancy and revenue through market awareness, tenant satisfaction, and process improvements. This position offers the chance to influence property performance within a large, global real estate platform.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in due diligence and takeover processes with file audits and onboarding
  • Provide coaching and training to onsite staff to improve performance
  • Contribute to budget development by analyzing financials and market data
  • Ensure timely rent collection, financial reporting, and banking activities
  • Approve vendor invoices and manage communications between vendors, accounting, and owners
  • Control expenditures within budget and manage petty cash
  • Oversee lease enforcement, including applications, renewals, notifications, evictions, and late fees
  • Develop and adjust short- and long-range marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy/revenue goals
  • Promote resident satisfaction by handling complaints and service requests promptly
  • Support social media, online advertising, and reputation management efforts
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety and appearance
  • Supervise hiring, onboarding, and performance management of property team members
  • Manage owner relationships with property performance updates and requests
  • Complete accounting, financial, and administrative reports as required
Key requirements
  • 4-6 years of relevant property management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, capable of independent work and leadership
  • Licenses/certifications as required by state/local jurisdictions
  • Valid driver's license for on-site travel and golf cart operation
  • Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management
  • Strong experience with property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite)
