Overview In this role, you will lead the Talent Acquisition function during a period of rapid growth, partnering with U.S. and China leadership to shape hiring strategies across manufacturing, engineering, and corporate functions. You'll coach a team of recruiters, drive process improvements, and build strong pipelines for hard-to-fill roles. This position offers impact through strategic workforce planning and employer branding in a global manufacturing context. You will work closely with cross-functional leaders to align recruiting with business objectives and growth plans.
Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters and recruiting coordinators to meet hiring goals across multiple functions
- Set recruiting priorities, hiring strategies, and performance expectations; drive continuous improvement of TA organization
- Partner with executives and hiring managers to forecast workforce needs and develop strategic recruiting plans
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment for engineering, manufacturing, operations, finance, supply chain, IT, quality, and leadership roles; recruit for executive positions as needed
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies (LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, universities, referrals, passive outreach); build long-term talent pipelines
- Optimize recruiting workflows, ATS processes (Greenhouse preferred), interview processes, and reporting; ensure high-quality candidate experience
- Monitor and present KPIs (time-to-fill, time-to-hire, offer acceptance, cost-per-hire, recruiter productivity, diversity metrics) to leadership
- Collaborate with HR and Marketing to strengthen employer brand; represent the company at universities, career fairs, and industry events
- Ensure compliance with laws and company policies; maintain hiring documentation and process controls
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (speaking, reading, writing)
- 7+ years of progressive recruiting experience including technical, manufacturing, engineering, and corporate recruiting
- 3+ years of recruiting leadership or TA management experience
- Experience leading recruiting teams in high-growth manufacturing, automotive, battery, industrial, or technology environments
- Proven partnership with international leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of workforce planning, direct sourcing, employment branding, and talent market intelligence
- Experience with ATS (Greenhouse preferred), HRIS, LinkedIn Recruiter, and recruiting analytics
- Excellent communication, coaching, negotiation, and organizational skills
