Overview

In this role you will manage civil litigation matters across an assigned territory, negotiating settlements and representing clients in hearings and trials. You will work independently, coordinating with internal staff and opposing counsel to move cases toward timely resolutions. You will draft pleadings, responses, motions, and other documents, while maintaining organized case files and deadlines. The position involves travel for court appearances with reimbursed mileage and travel expenses. You contribute to high-quality client service with confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities
  • Negotiate settlements and pursue resolution of active litigation matters
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and other documents
  • Represent clients at hearings and trials within the assigned region
  • Collaborate with internal staff, opposing counsel, and others to advance case resolutions
  • Evaluate case details to develop effective settlement and litigation strategies
  • Maintain organized case files, deadlines, and priorities across an active caseload
  • Travel within the territory for court appearances with reimbursed travel expenses
  • Ensure confidentiality and high-quality client service in all interactions
Key requirements
  • Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing
  • Familiarity with civil litigation, courtroom procedures, and related processes
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills to evaluate cases and seek resolutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong organizational and case management capabilities
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining professional communication with clients, courts, counsel, and colleagues
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn technology-based systems
