Overview As a Project Architect at Perkins&Will's NC studio, you will advance design excellence for higher education projects with strong Revit leadership. You will guide cross functional teams, manage technical delivery, and ensure quality from concept through construction. You'll navigate codes, regulatory reviews, and QA to shape outcomes and client communication. This role offers mentorship and a chance to influence living design within complex campuses.
Responsibilities- Guide the design process and ensure alignment with firm standards and project goals
- Coordinate documentation, drawings, and specifications across internal and external teams
- Lead quality control and quality assurance at all project phases
- Manage project coordination among architecture, interior design, and consultants
- Communicate technical matters with clients and authorities having jurisdiction
- Oversee regulatory reviews (building codes, accessibility, zoning) and submissions
- Lead construction contract administration activities (submittals, RFIs, field observations, closeout)
- Support project marketing pursuits and interviews
- Mentor staff and promote high-performing teamwork
- Stay informed on evolving building technology and systems
Key requirements- 8+ years of experience
- Professional architecture licensure required
- Advanced Revit proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in architecture
- Knowledge of codes and construction documentation
