Overview

As an HRBP, you will develop and run LOB-specific people initiatives aligned with business strategy. You partner with the business and COEs to foster positive employee relations and engagement. You'll support leadership, coaching, policy deployment, and change management to drive retention and performance in a safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute LOB-specific people initiatives aligned to business strategy
  • Collaborate with business leaders and COEs to promote employee engagement and positive relations
  • Consult with line management providing HR expertise including change management
  • Coach and develop leaders; support organizational development and talent progression
  • Build trust through field presence and understanding critical business challenges
  • Train managers and employees on policies, HR programs, labor relations, and development opportunities
  • Partner with LOB/COEs to deploy programs that improve engagement and reduce turnover
  • Facilitate annual performance management, development, and compensation review processes
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct investigations
  • Administer union agreements and participate in union negotiations where applicable
Key requirements
  • Bachelor degree in HR/Labor Relations/Business or related field;
  • 3+ years in a similar HRBP role;
  • Ability to bridge cross-functional boundaries;
  • Decision-making under adverse situations and conflict resolution
  • Support for team development and strong problem-solving skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational skills with multitasking and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel 25-50%
