Overview In this role you support HR plans and programs at the assigned location, helping maximize HR effectiveness while ensuring policy and regulatory compliance. You work cross-functionally to address associate relations, benefits, training, and HRIS-related needs, contributing to a culture-focused, compliant work environment. You engage in investigations, policy guidance, and training delivery to enable smooth operations and impactful people programs. This position offers hands-on experience across HR disciplines in a retail logistics setting.
Responsibilities- Resolve associate relations issues including investigations and fact-finding; support correction action processes with DC HR Manager; assist with unemployment claims and hearings
- Identify culture/values breaches affecting the workplace and provide policy guidance
- Assist in benefits enrollment and communication processes
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and propose action plans
- Support HRIS-related training and transaction support for line management
- Assist in delivering training and supporting HRM in training initiatives
- Assist in the selection of leadership positions
Key requirements- Two years of work experience in HR or related field
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
- Experience handling unemployment claims and/or corrective action processes (preferred)
- Experience administering compensation programs and delivering formal classroom training (preferred)
- Legal ability to work in the United States
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of HRIS programs (training and transaction support)
