Overview In this role you drive the profitability and growth of a location within a construction-focused company. You lead across departments, shape strategy, and steer complex builds from site to closeout, coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, and vendors. You will balance project delivery with cost and quality, building lasting client relationships and guiding teams to meet objectives. This is a hands-on leadership role that links operations to corporate strategy and market opportunities.
Responsibilities- Own location performance goals and shape short- and long-range objectives per the strategic plan
- Lead multiple projects with on-site supervision of superintendents, foremen, and trades
- Plan work, schedule materials/tools/equipment to meet deadlines
- Review plans/specs, direct construction activities, resolve obstacles, coordinate installations and closeouts, manage client relationships
- Set strategy for annual operating budgets, staffing, marketing, and capital expenditures; spot market opportunities
- Develop and coach teams; oversee cross-disciplinary training and performance appraisals
- Inspect projects for scope, specs, company standards, and code compliance; document accurately
- Manage numbers: billing, approvals, and regular job-cost reviews
- Provide weekly updates to COO and escalate issues
- Grow the business through client relationships and professional organizations
- Model best practices, lead through change, capture lessons learned at closeout
- Utilize estimating programs for change orders and estimates; maintain confidentiality

- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with estimating programs and change orders; knowledge of NEC/National Electric Codes (as applicable)
