Overview In this role you will advance Cooley's practice-specific initiatives to maximize the value of innovation technologies. You will collaborate with practice leadership, support teams, and legal education to implement best practices and scalable tools. Your work will drive pilots, deployments, and change campaigns that differentiate the firm through efficient, technology-enabled legal service delivery. You'll shape playbooks and resources that empower practice groups to adopt innovative processes.

Responsibilities- Support attorney-level input on targeted legal technology adoption initiatives for practice groups
- Design and prepare playbooks to guide adoption of innovation technologies and processes
- Organize presentations, status reports, and executive briefings
- Collaborate with leadership to prioritize initiatives and evangelize the prioritization process
- Define objectives, metrics, and timelines for technology adoption with cross-functional teams
- Analyze workflows with practice management and pricing to improve efficiency using technology
- Lead and participate in pilots, deployments, proofs of concept, and continuous improvements
- Coordinate with change management to develop communication campaigns and measurement
- Develop and maintain practice group-specific resources and scale efforts with other departments
- Perform additional responsibilities as firm needs evolve
Key requirements- 4+ years direct applicable experience (legal practice or legal technology adoption)
- Juris Doctor or non-US equivalent
- Active bar status in jurisdictions where you work and in the office location (if applicable)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, iManage, and other firm applications
- Ability to travel and work extended hours as required
- Experience in cross-functional projects with legal technology teams and practice leadership
- Understanding of large law firm financial and work allocation processes
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Relationship-building and stakeholder management
- experience with iManage or NetDocs
- knowledge of Elite 3E, Intapp, Litera, Thomson Reuters and Lexis products
- familiarity with generative AI solutions used in legal practice
